2009: Named the squad’s most improved player ... Appeared in 30 of the Gators’ 31 matches as a freshman, making four starts ... Finished second on the team with 232 kills, averaging 2.52 per set ... Played a huge role in SF State’s historic upset of second-ranked UC San Diego, knocking down a season-high 20 kills (Nov. 6) ... Posted her first double-double as a Gator with 13 kills and 10 digs in SF State’s five-set triumph at Cal State Monterey Bay (Sept. 15) ... Recorded her best hitting percentage of the season (.524), blasting 13 kills on 21 attempts with just two errors in the Gators’ home-opening win over Hawai’i Pacific (Sept. 3) ... Was named to the SF State Athletics Dean's List for both the fall and spring semesters and also earned scholar-athlete recognition.
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2009 from Tesoro High School ... Also competed in softball for the Titans, earning team Most Valuable Player honors ... Recipient of Torch of Excellence award.
