2009: Ran in all six of the Gators’ scheduled races as a junior ... Logged a season-fast time of 28:07.80 at the CCAA Championships ... Finished 19th at the Mills College Invitational after clocking in at 29:20.53 ... Also participated in the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from El Camino College where he was a two-year competitor in both cross country and track ... Received "Scholar-Baller" distinction ... Graduated from Redondo Union High School in 2007 ... Ran cross country and track for the Sea Hawks and also played soccer ... Was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: Parents are Oscar and Claudia Flores ... Enjoys hanging out with friends.
