2009: Cracked the starting lineup in 12 of the 29 matches she played ... Ranked second on the team in total blocks (38) and fifth in kills (129) ... Knocked down a season-high 11 kills in the Gators’ sweep of Cal State Dominguez Hills (Oct. 31) ... Recorded her best hitting percentage of the year (.667) against UC San Diego in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (Nov. 19).
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from the University of Portland where she played in 10 matches as a freshman ... Graduated from Bishop O’Dowd High School in 2008 ... Earned two varsity letters under head coach Tim Newman ... Garnered first-team All-Hayward Area Athletic League honors following her junior and senior campaigns ... Helped the Dragons win conference titles in 2006 and 2007, while the 2007 squad captured the North Coast Section Divsion III championship and finished third in the CIF ... Was named co-captain for her senior season, during which she established new school records in blocking, conditioning and vertical reach.
PERSONAL: Parents are Robert and Sherry Hall ... Plans to major in Criminal Justice at SF State ... Won a bronze medal at the Junior Olympics in 2008 ... Also competed at the event in 2006 ...
