2010 TRACK: Qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the 400-meter hurdles after setting a new school record with a time of 1:00.93 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational in Berkeley (Apr. 23) ... Also established a new personal best of 15.09 in the 100 hurdles at the same meet, which ranks 11th on SF State’s all-time list ... Garnered All-CCAA honors after a second-place finish of 1:01.47 in the 400 hurdles at the conference championships (May 8) ... Finished 14th overall in the preliminaries of the 400 hurdles after a 1:01.97 showing at the national meet (May 27) ... Captured the same event at the UC Davis Classic (March 20) ... Ran the third leg of the Gators’ 4x400 relay team that logged the fourth-fastest time in school history of 3:52.95 at the Brutus Hamilton Invite ... Finished second in the Section 3 finals of the 400 meters with a 1:01.56 clocking at the University of Washington’s Indoor Preview (Jan. 16).
2009 TRACK: Ran the opening leg of SF State’s 4x400 relay team that posted a season-fast time of 3:57.68 at the Stanford Invitational ... Finished second in the 400 hurdles at the Chico Twilights, crossing the finish line with a season-best clocking of 1:04.30 ... Logged her best time in the 400 meters during the indoor campaign at the New Mexico Invitational (1:01.11) and the 60 hurdles (9.85) at the UW Husky Winter Preview.
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from Santa Rosa Junior College where she was a two-time NorCal finalist ... Placed seventh in the 400 hurdles at the 2008 Northern California Community College Championships ... Was also a member of SRJC’s volleyball team that qualified for the state community college finals ... Graduated from Petaluma High School in 2005 ... Holds the school record in the 100 and 300 hurdles, 400 meters and 4x400 relay ... Also played in volleyball as a prep.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Brent and Laurie Dalbey ... Has two younger brothers, Sean and Mitch ... Lived in Costa Rica for one year after high school graduation ... Majoring in kinesiology at SF State with plans to become a college strength and conditioning coach.
