WALNUT CREEK – SF State's men's basketball players Calvin Otiono, Decensae White and William Overton, Jr. were named to the 2013 All-CCAA Men's Basketball Team as announced by the conference office this morning.  Otiono and White each were named to the First Team while Overton was a Second Team selection. 

White led the Gators this past season with his 12.6 scoring and 7.3 rebounding average.  He also had 48 assists, 23 blocked shots and 24 steals while connecting on 23 three's.  Earlier this season, the senior transfer was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Ron Logsdon Classic. 
 
Otiono averaged 12.5 points per game while shooting a team high 50.7% from three-point land.  He also had a team leading 35 three's made, 82 assists and 45 steals.  Otiono also shot 45% from the field and 78% from the charity stripe.  The junior guard was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Carl's Jr. Mac Martin Tournament in Chico, Calif.
 
Overton, Jr. was third on the team with his 11.2 scoring average and led the Gators with his 86.8% shooting from free throw line.  The junior transfer also shot 46% from the field while averaging 3.3 rebounds per game and recording 28 steals. 
 
SF State finished the regular season with a 15-11 overall record and a 13-9 record in the CCAA.  The Gators finished tied for fourth place with Cal State L.A. and are hosting the Golden Eagles in a First Round CCAA Basketball Championship Tournament game this evening at 7pm. 
 
Mitchel Anderson of Cal Poly Pomona was named the league's Most Valuable Player while his coach, Greg Kamansky, was selected as the Coach of the Year as voted on by league's head coaches.  Cal State San Bernardino's Brian Goins was selected as the CCAA Newcomer of the Year and Alex Fertig of Cal St. Monterey Bay was the Freshman of the Year.
