SAN FRANCISCO.--- SF State’s women’s track and field has been selected as one of the 65 NCAA Division II women’s track and field programs that were recognized as 2009 United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track and Field Teams.
The Gators, under the direction of head coach Terry Burke, had a team cumulative grade point average of 3.11 and was one of two California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) teams to receive this honor with UC San Diego being the other conference member team selected.
To be nominated, the team must carry a minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average.
