SAN FRANCISCO.--- As announced by the office of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), 28 San Francisco State University student-athletes are recipients of the CCAA All-Academic Award for 2008-09. This past academic year 428 student-athletes were eligible to receive this award from the 11-member conference.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be a varsity letter winner who competed in one of 13 CCAA-sponsored sports during the 2008-09 academic year. Student-athletes must also have a grade point average of 3.40 or higher in a minimum of 24 semester or 36 quarter units completed at a certifying institution.
