Chico, Calif.--- It was the duo of
Luisa Musika (Milpitas, Calif., Milpitas HS) and
Meagen Moiola (Morro Bay, Calif., Morro Bay HS) that lead the way for the SF State women's track and field team at the 2009 Chico State Twi-Lights in Chico, California. Musika improved her NCAA Division II National Provisional Qualifying Mark in the discus with a first place throw of 148-11 while Moiola won the high jump with a jump of 5-5.
Musika also finished sixth in the shot put with a mark of 38-8 ½ and seventh in the hammer with a throw of 131-07.

SF State will return to the track on April 19 in Long Beach, California, as the Gators will participate in the Beach Invitational on the campus of Long Beach State University.
