KANSAS CITY--- SF State men’s soccer players
Dylan Glass (Rancho Cucamonga, California, Alta Loma) and
Wes Whitt (Alpine, California, Cathedral Catholic)were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/NCAA Division II West Region Team as announced by the NSCAA office this afternoon. Both Glass and Whitt were named to the Third Team.
Earlier this fall, both Glass and Whitt were named the Gators’ Co-Most Valuable Players. Glass finished the season as the Gators’ leading scorer with 20 points. He had a team high 8 assists with six goals, which tied him with teammates Arnol Arceta and Edgar Villagrana for the team lead. The senior forward finished his career in the top ten in three career statistical categories: goals scored (third-24), assists (tied for third-14) and points (third-62).

Whitt played a major role in the Gators posting five shutouts this season. He also scored once and had two assist for SF State this season. The senior defender also finished his career with 13 assists, which places him fifth on the Gator all-time career list in assists.
SF State finished the 2009 season with a 6-10-4 overall record and a 3-9-4 record in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
